This One-Bedroom Co-op in Park Slope Has the Parisian Touch
Could this one-bedroom co-op, located at 404 3rd Street in Park Slope, blend right in in Paris? The broker seems to think so, calling the unit a “precious bijou on Park Slope’s Champs Elysees!” Indeed, the apartment has a little French flair and is located in one of the nicest areas of the Slope, on a tree-lined block of historic townhouses. This particular unit is now on the market with an asking price of $575,000.
This unit comes with an open kitchen, living and dining room area that is boasting some serious charm. A bay window brings in lots of light, and the exposed brick has been painted white to brighten up the interior. The high ceilings, moldings, and wood floors aren’t hurting, either.
The kitchen was designed with a green tile backsplash paired with marble counter tops. Despite the narrow space (which looks to be outfitted with plenty of cabinet storage), the current owners have managed to fit a wine cooler and dishwasher inside.
The bedroom looks a little underwhelming and cramped. (Guess you’ll have to comprise on something when it comes to a relatively affordable one-bedroom in Park Slope.) Although there is no square footage or floor plan listed, it definitely seems like this is one cozy apartment.
Lack of interior space can be made up for by this beautiful common roof deck. It comes with views all the way to the water. Sure, you could pretend like you’re in Paris from up here, but who wouldn’t want to love everything about Brooklyn instead?
