The Emerson is the latest boutique condo in Chelsea to abut the High Line. Located at 500 West 25th Street, the 10-story building has just eight full-floor units, including the duplex penthouse, which has just hit the market for $16 million. The incredible four-bedroom home has 5,100 square feet of interior space along with nearly 2,600 square feet of outdoor space spread over two terraces and a roof deck with views of the High Line, Hudson River, Empire State Building, and Hudson Yards.
The living spaces are on the upper level, beginning with a long gallery hall and entry foyer. This then opens into the open dining room and great room, which feature 12-foot ceilings and wide-plank white oak floors.
The great room opens to a 13′ x 39′ private terrace, where there’s space for lounging and dining.
On the other side of the dining room is the kitchen, which is super sunny thanks to six east-facing floor-to-ceiling windows. There are top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances, white oak cabinetry, hand-selected statuary marble countertops, and a large island. Also on this level is the fourth bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The other two bedrooms are on the lower level, accessed via stairs or an elevator. They both have en-suite bathrooms and small nooks that can be used as seating areas or dressing rooms.
Also on the lower level is the corner master suite, which has room for a seating area, two walk-in closets, a dressing room, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with heated marble floors, an oversized walk-in glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding deep soaking bathtub.
The master also opens to a private terrace.
Finally, the roof deck has tons of space for multiple lounging and dining areas.
