$8M Full Floor Greene Street Loft Leaves Us Speechless
They say a picture is worth a thousand words and we’re inclined to agree. While we love using words to tell you all about some of the most amazing residences on the market, we’re not sure words can quite do this Soho beauty justice.
Located in a landmarked building at 60 Greene Street, with its cobbled stones and quaint charm, this nearly 4,000-square-foot full floor condominium loft not only took our words away, it took our breath away too!
Enter through the discreet lobby of the classic cast iron building and hop onto the elevator that opens directly into the exquisite 1BR/2BA apartment where you will be welcomed by soaring 13-foot ceilings, multiple cast iron columns, maple hardwood floors and eleven grand 8-foot windows.
When you have an entire floor at your disposal the term “open floor plan” takes on a whole new meaning. The living room is massive and the dining area seats 12 comfortably at a unique white marble single slab dining table.
A white and stainless Boffi kitchen with every chef’s consideration is expertly installed and has more counter and storage space than we’d know what to do with, but we’re sure someone out there will soon be whipping up stellar meals surrounded by family and friends at the enormous seating bar.
The gorgeous bedroom area features its own 72-inch drop-down TV screen and is separated by floor-to-ceiling white translucent drapes. His and her dressing rooms with dreamy closets adjoin the sensuous bathroom with a tub that looks like an oversized teacup (nothing like the Disney ride!) and is sure to provide hours of spa-like relaxation.
Situated in the heart of SoHo, New York’s premier downtown location, the lucky owners will be surrounded by some of the best culinary, retail, and cultural landmarks the city has to offer while living in one of the finest residences the city has to offer.
Okay, so we’ve managed to scrape together a few delicious details, but we still think our words fall short in adequately describing this incredible home… which is why our gallery below – and Urban Compass agents Leonard Steinberg and HervĂ© Senequier – are ready to show you what our words can’t.
