Don’t miss your $23M chance to be Donald Trump’s downstairs neighbor
This “yuge” Trump Tower penthouse hit the market back in October 2015, but its $23 million price tag and location just a few floors below Donald Trump‘s personal residence have apparently not been the biggest selling points. As 6sqft previously noted, the sprawling (albeit gaudy) condo was once owned by the Donald himself, back when his parents lived there and when he reportedly rented it out for $110,000 a month to buddy Michael Jackson and then-wife Lisa Marie Presley. But if you’re still itching to be neighbors with the presidential candidate, it’s not too late.
The 3,725-square-foot, four-bedroom pad is located on the 63rd floor of the Midtown East tower and has incredible views of Central Park and the skyline through 28 windows. Enter through a black granite and marble gallery, which leads to the double living room, complete with Baroque-looking fireplace and massive floor-to-ceiling windows, a paneled library, and an eat-in kitchen.
The master bedroom has elaborate picture moldings, a private dressing room, an en-suite onyx bathroom, and oversized closets.
If Trump is the selling point for you, though, do take note of the fact that the Secret Service has warned him against remaining in his Trump Tower penthouse if he is in fact elected President. He and wife Melania reside in a 66th floor spread that’s supposedly worth $100 million, but sources told the Post that the building makes it easy for residents and their guests to come and go as they please, creating “a security nightmare.” And resale may be an issue, as recent analysis shows that sales in his buildings have declined as the election got closer.
