Furnished Noho Rental Outfitted by Renowned Designer Asks $14K/Month
If you’re dropping $14,000 a month on a furnished rental, it may as well be by a professional designer. That’s what the listing promises for 27 Great Jones Street, a sprawling two-bedroom Noho loft that’s on the market. The 2,000-square-foot apartment, it says, is owned by a renowned designer that has masterfully decorated it. And it’s true, the furniture and decor certainly compliment lofty details like exposed brick and 16-foot beamed ceilings.
A keyed elevator entrance opens directly into the living room, which is an impressive 23-by-26 feet. All that space is lit up by three big windows, while 16-foot ceilings, exposed brick and bleached hardwood floors give it that lofty personality. The furnishings are absolutely unique, with built-in wood shelving, floor pillows, wood benches and a leather ottoman that’s been transformed into a squat table.
The chef’s kitchen has granite counters and custom cabinets surrounding high-end appliances, which include a Viking range and oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator and Asko dishwasher. Most lofts of this size opt for the combined, open living and dining room, but this apartment has created separate spaces for each. The pass-through kitchen, actually, is what separates the living from the exposed-brick-lined dining room.
Both bedrooms are located at the end of the loft to create a sense of privacy. The master suite is decked out with four large closets and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks, a soaking tub and walk-in shower. The decor in here? Clean and simple. The second bedroom, which isn’t huge but has enough space for two twin beds, could also be used as an office.
The rental, located pretty much in the heart of Noho, is being offered for short-term or long-term lease. It also can be delivered unfurnished… but why would you want that?
