This time around it’s available from April 1st though September 30th, asking $5,000 a month.
The open living and dining room pretty much embodies what a cool Lower East Side artist apartment should look like: soaring, beamed ceilings, exposed brick, lots of bookshelves and an old decorative fireplace. It’s a huge space, with plenty of room for couches and a large dining table.
It’s also refreshing to see a kitchen with some old-school appliances rather than the stainless-steel, shiny fixtures in just about every nice apartment these days. As the listing says, this apartment comes with the couple’s “cultural artifacts” –so you’re not just getting the space, but the quirky things that go with it.
The bedrooms are the highlight of the apartment because of the dramatic pitched roof. Those cathedral ceilings, alongside big windows and white-washed exposed brick, leave both bedrooms feeling incredibly bright.
The master bedroom can fit a king bed, and has a full bathroom right next to it, as well as a smaller queen-sized bedroom.
As if this apartment could get any cooler, it comes with access to the private backyard. And the great thing about renting it out fully furnished: the patio table and the grill come with the space! We wish all apartments came with their own cultural artifacts.
