While realistically most of us would rather stretch out in a four-bedroom, if we had to squeeze into a micro home, we definitely wouldn’t mind shacking up in a Tiny Heirloom. In addition to offering all of today’s modern comforts across “two floors,” each Tiny Heirloom comes fitted with high-end finishes. The base custom package comes with granite countertops, painted or stained cabinets and cupboards, real-wood or bamboo flooring, a compostable toilet or back water tank, a heater, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer combo unit (whoa), painted or stained interior and exterior, and a basic wind or solar package.

Amazingly, it takes just 90-120 days to complete one these homes from start to finish. Basic models are priced at $75,000, but the price goes up the more you customize.

And because Tiny Heirloom is considered a “travel trailer manufacturer” you don’t have to worry about permits or taxes establishing it somewhere. The company handles all the manufacturing licenses and anything legal related to its construction. The homes weigh anywhere between 8,000-18,000 pounds and can theoretically be towed by a 3/4 ton pickup, meaning you can plant it pretty much on any flat surface, assuming that authorities, and/or a site’s owner, will allow it. Tiny Heirloom will even deliver the home to you at no charge (so long as you’re in the U.S. Continental 48 states), help you with financing, and fly you out to their workshop so that you can see it under construction.

The homes are handcrafted to suit in Portland, Oregon by a team with more than a decade of experience in building. As the name implies, each Tiny Heirloom is meant to be passed on from generation to generation.
