Brooklyn Nets All-Star Joe Johnson Shopping for a New Home in the Clocktower Building

October 23, 2014

Brooklyn Nets’ Joe Johnson is hunting for a home and he’s got his eye on a beauty at the Clocktower Building in DUMBO. According to the NYP, the 33-year-old shooting guard was spotted scoping out a two-bedroom renting for $9,500 a month at the iconic waterfront building. The corner loft home features concrete beamed 11-foot high ceilings, hardwood flooring and big, bright windows facing the Manhattan Bridge.

Perfect for Johnson, who hails from the Little Rock, Arkansas, the bright and warm loft features a gourmet kitchen with a SubZero refrigerator, Thermador oven, cooktop and Bosch washer and dryer.

The comfy master bedroom is fit for an All-Star with an ample walk-in closet and a master bath with tub and a separate shower. The second room features en-suite bath as well. The building also hosts a concierge, roof deck, gym, and bike room if Johnson ever feels inspired to cycle down to the Barclays Center for a game.

Anne Hathaway recently sold her un-lived-in-but-fully-renovated apartment in the same building for $4.25 million. And the Clocktower’s incredible penthouse is still up for grabs at $18 million.
