Simon Cowell Drops $11 Million on Lenox Hill Pad for His New Family
After months of house hunting, Simon Cowell has found a home for his new family. According to the NY Post, the TV mogul just put down $10.85 million on a nest at 151 East 78th Street for his girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their love child. The family will now call the Peter Pennoyer-designed condominium home; and while the Post isn’t entirely sure which unit the TV mogul purchased for his best friend’s ex-wife (no judgment here), they’re guessing it was the three-bedroom penthouse.
This 3,381-square-foot pad features “an intricate, hand-laid African St. Laurent and white polished marble slab marble floor” along with a roof deck, a half-moon terrace, and a master en suite that will make you melt. We’re talking heated floors and an eight-jet stream shower with a bench. Give us a moment while we daydream.
Now where were we? Oh. Best of all, the Lenox Hill apartment is not far from Silverman’s ex-husband (and Cowell’s ex-best friend) Andrew Silverman and the 7-year-old son he and Silverman share together. That means plenty of fun-filled, tension-free sleepovers for all, no?
