New Yorkers earning 80 or 130 percent of the area median income can apply for 27 apartments in Greenpoint through the city’s affordable housing lottery. The units at 1056 Manhattan Avenue range from $1,208/month studios to $2,592/month two-bedrooms. The recently completed building is in the heart of the neighborhood and offers spacious sunny apartments, a gym, roof deck, and parking options.

The homes have ample windows and closets, along with dishwashers, high-end kitchen appliances, air conditioning, and hardwood floors. The building is just a few blocks from the waterfront and a short walk to the G train at Greenpoint Avenue. Popular spots like Esme, Lobster Joint, Milk & Roses, and Saint Vitus Bar are all around the corner.
Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the affordable units until August 9, 2021. Fifty percent of units are set aside for residents of Brooklyn Community Board 1.
