First spotted by Curbed, this funky home in Greenport, Long Island was built in 1930 as the town’s laundry and has since been converted into this very cool live-work loft. Listed for $1.3 million, the 4,400-square-foot building has an exposed greenhouse-inspired roof and big, open rooms full of original woodwork and pops of lime green. Also included in the sale is an adjacent cottage that could be used as a guest house or additional workspace.

According to Curbed, “American film director Clay Weiner bought the home from New York City artist Rob Pruitt in 2006, and the structure was remodeled and modernized shortly thereafter.”

The lower level is a completely open, fully functional studio that spans 2,100 square feet and has 14-foot ceilings, double-height windows, and lots of storage space.

The second floor is the main living space, which benefits from tons of natural light thanks to the open ceiling. Throughout are original wide plant floors and industrial touches. Though not pictured, there’s also an expansive outdoor deck.

There’s enough room for several distinct living/dining areas.

There’s currently just one bedroom, though more could certainly be added with all the space.

Through a charming courtyard is the cottage.

The cottage also has a beamed ceiling and open living area. There’s a bit of separation for the bedroom area.
