Social media influencer and DJ’s ethereal East Village triplex hits the market for $2.65M
Social media influencer, model, and entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman and her DJ husband Brendan Fallis are selling their renovated East Village townhouse triplex, listed for $2.65 million. After purchasing the house at 214 East 9th Street for $1.6 in 2004, the couple undertook a massive gut renovation resulting in a gorgeous, light-filled airy home that was featured in Architectural Digest, complete with a rooftop garden deck and sleek, minimalist style.
Designed by their friend and architect Jeffrey White of EAU, the apartment is filled with custom finishes. Interior designer Michelle Zacks listened closely to her clients’ desires in helping them design their first home. She created a neutral, warm, minimalist apartment. As Fallis said, “bright colors tend to move with the times. We prefer it this way.”
The sun-drenched, vaulted living room has oversized windows, 18-foot ceilings, and a fireplace.
In the AD video, shot in May 2017, the giddy couple gives a tour of their home and profess their love of cooking. They highlight their high-end kitchen with their favorite appliance, the Lacanche oven, “it’s beautiful French heritage” says Fallis. After the Lacanche, the couple loves their black interior fridge. The kitchen also has beautiful grey custom cabinets that were stained to match the neutral color palette of the home and full-slab Carrara marble countertops and backsplash.
The crowning glory of the home is the top floor master bathroom, that the couple refers to as “the cloud in the sky,” which has foldable doors that open the room up to the outdoor garden deck.
The master bathroom has a steam and rain shower, as well as free-standing, clawfoot tub (which a fully-clothed Bronfman fawned over while in the tub, in the video) with a stunning vintage crystal Kinkeldey chandelier and skylight above.
The building is a small boutique condo with elevator and video intercom.
