Casino mogul and billionaire Steve Wynn is selling his Central Park South penthouse for $90,000,000. The home is located on the 30th and 31st floors of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel at 50 Central Park South. The sprawling duplex, which Wynn picked up for $70,000,000 in 2012, measures 11,000 square feet and features unparalleled views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. If the residence fetches the asking price, it would be the most expensive sale in the building’s history.

Designed by famous New York City architect Emery Roth, 50 Central Park South opened in 1930 as the Hotel St. Moritz before it was converted into a residential property in 2002.
The hotel’s former ballroom, with its 15-foot ceiling and 10 large-scale arched windows, serves as the apartment’s grand living room, which is connected to the unit’s largest terrace. The terrace spans nearly 45 feet across the length of the facade and offers views of Central Park from its southern edge with a birds-eye perspective.
Located adjacent to the living room and wrapping around the northeast corner of the unit, a square media room is basked in natural light through its large-arched windows. There’s a library and an adjacent wet bar with cushy seating, a powder room, and abundant closet space.
The dining room also retains the glamour of the former luxury hotel, with high ceilings, arched windows on three sides, and access to a 28-foot western-facing terrace.
Close by, a chef’s kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art, stainless-steel appliances. Next door is an additional powder room and a terrace breakfast room with its own entrance to the unit’s northern terrace.
Down a marble staircase you’ll find the private quarters on the lower level, home to the primary suite, spa-like bathroom, and a large gym.
There are two additional bedrooms, one that wraps around the northeast corner of the apartment and another that has three exposures with breathtaking views of the city skyline. Both have en-suite baths. Situated nearby is a staff room, with its own en-suite bath and laundry room.

The penthouse is one of 11 exclusive condos at the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, which takes up the 12 top floors above the hotel.
Residents have their own private entrance and access to the world-renowned hotel’s suite of luxury services and amenities, including a spa and health club, business center, bar and lounge, in-room dining services, and housekeeping.
