Karlie Kloss lists cool and compact West Village townhouse for $2.75M

Model Karlie Kloss is selling her chic and petite West Village townhouse co-op at 151 Charles Street, the Wall Street Journal reports. The three-story, two-bedroom-plus-den home was just listed for $2.75M. Though it's a co-op, the triplex has all the perks of townhouse living–a front garden, a second-floor terrace, high ceilings, and skylit bedrooms to name a few–in addition to supermodel cachet and a prime West Village spot.

A-Rod takes another swing at NYC real estate, buys second apartment building

As a rookie in the New York City real estate game, Alex Rodriguez is trying to hit it out of the park. The former New York Yankee has picked up a second apartment building, a 14-story residence in Turtle Bay, as first reported by the New York Post. In June, A-Rod bought his first major Big Apple purchase, a 21-unit rental in the East Village with Barbara Corcoran, who founded the eponymous real estate firm and is an investor on the television show Shark Tank.

They just listed a fully decorated Village pad they'd bought in 2013 along with their former penthouse at 2 East 12th Street earlier this month, and the famed interior designer duo have made another real estate move, purchasing an appropriately stylish house at 53 Kettle Hole Road in Montauk that was most recently listed at $1.599 million. The seller is renowned contemporary artist and photographer Raphael Mazzucco, who has eight Vogue covers and three Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues under his belt in addition to numerous campaigns for brands like Victoria's Secret and Ralph Lauren.

Just listed for $4.7M, Kanye West’s former Soho home wears ego-soothing neutral hues

This sleek and civilized condo at 25 West Houston Street was the long-time Soho residence of musician and fashion powerhouse Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian. Trump’s childhood home heads back to the auction block after failing to find a $2.9M buyer

President Donald Trump’s boyhood home in Jamacia Estates is headed to auction after spending 19 days on the market last February for $2.9 million, the New York Times reports. The home is no longer owned by Trump or his organization; the current owner bought the property in 2017 for $2.14 million anonymously via Trump Birth House LLC. The unassuming five-bedroom Tudor has since been used as an Airbnb rental, and it was briefly rented by refugees via anti-poverty organization Oxfam to bring attention to the refugee crisis during the 2017 UN General Assembly.

Legendary New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath is selling his Upper West Side co-op. I Love the Upper West Side tells us that the football icon bought the 1,300-square-foot two-bedroom home at 345 West 70th Street for his daughter Jessica and her former husband in 2016. It's now on the market for $1.195 million. In addition to star athlete cachet, the highlights of this classic duplex home are an oversized custom wooden deck and a lower level garden.

The 14-room penthouse occupying the top three floors of one of Fifth Avenue's finest prewar co-op buildings is simply divine. This should come as no surprise–the 7,000-square-foot triplex with 3,000 square feet of landscaped terrace and Central Park and skyline views at 1125 Fifth Avenue belongs to Bette Midler. As the New York Times reports, the over-the-top entertainer and her husband, performance artist Martin von Haselberg, are selling the Upper East Side family home they purchased in 1996, asking a diva-worthy $50 million.

‘Girls’ star Zosia Mamet lists classic Upper West Side co-op for 1.3M

Best known for her role as Shosanna on "Girls," actress Zosia Mamet has put her Upper West Side co-op on the market, reports the New York Post. Nearly five years ago, she and then-boyfriend-now-husband Evan Jonigkeit sold their Bushwick house and soon moved into a what we thought was a rather "unimpressive" apartment at 522 West End Avenue. The couple dropped $1,225,000 million on the unit, which they've certainly jazzed up over the years, and they've now listed it for a barely profitable $1,295,000. The ground-floor two-bedroom has classic pre-war bones and is the only residence with private access to the building's rear garden.

Not only will Brooklyn Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie have some of the most insane views in New York City, but he'll be just a 15-minute walk from the team's court at the Barclay's Center. The New York Post reports that Dinwiddie is in contract to buy the penthouse unit at Brooklyn Point, the 720-foot-tall tower that is the borough's current tallest residential building and boasts the highest rooftop infinity pool in the western hemisphere. Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his longtime girlfriend, cookbook author and TV chef Sandra Lee, are selling their four-bedroom country home in Westchester. Lee, who recently denied rumors that the couple had split, told the New York Times that they no longer need the large house because the governor's three daughters are now adults. The four-bedroom home in Mount Kisco sits on a tranquil three acres, which include a pond and gazebo. The pair originally listed the home at the end of May for $2 million, but it's now received a price chop to $1,699,000, according to lohud.

Bruce Willis put his massive 22-acre Westchester estate on the market back in January for $12.95 million, with plans to head back to the West Coast. The "Die Hard" actor's Bedford Corners property just got a hefty discount, now asking $9.39 million, the New York Post reports. In 2014, Willis and wife Emma Heming paid $12 million for the estate, which includes a shingle-style home, antique house, and two renovated guest cottages. As 6sqft reported last January, Willis sold his co-op at 271 Central Park West for $17.75 million after buying it for around the same price in 2015.

But now The Real Deal has confirmed those early whispers and reports that the couple has purchased a $66 million penthouse at the Central Park South building, which has become a magnet for high-wealth house hunters after hedge funder Ken Griffin dropped $238 million on a residence there, becoming the most expensive home in the country.

A Bronx street will be renamed in honor of comic book legend Stan Lee

Stan Lee—the comic book writer and Marvel publisher who brought us Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, and the Fantastic Four among other classics—will soon be commemorated with a street naming in the Bronx. According to the New York Post, City Council voted this week to co-name University Avenue between Brandt Place and West 176th Street as “Stan Lee Way." The proposal was brought by City Council member Fernando Cabrera, who represents the area, and will become official as soon as the mayor signs it.

Maya Angelou’s former Harlem brownstone sells after spending a year and a half on the market

In 2001, one year before Maya Angelou purchased her personal residence—an elegant brownstone in the Mount Morris Park Historic District—the late author and activist bought an investment property about 10 blocks away at 29 East 129th Street for only $275,000. During the years in which she resided in New York, she served as landlord of the three-family East Harlem property, comprised of a garden level duplex and two full-floor one-bedroom apartments. Angelou’s estate maintained the property following her death in 2014 and sold the residence to the current owner in 2016 for $1.98 million. The townhouse was most recently listed for $2.65 million in February 2018. A few price chops later, it finally found a new owner and closed for $2.3 million, as the New York Post reported.

As Related CEO and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross prepares to move into the penthouse at one of his most recent developments, 35 Hudson Yards, he’s first unloading one of his older properties at another one of the company’s Skidmore Owings & Merrill-designed building, the Time Warner Center. Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer has officially parted ways with her beloved Upper East Side apartment of 20 years. The empty-nester decided to list the four-bedroom Yorkville abode last year and downsize to a smaller space now that her 24-year-old daughter, Avery Singer, is no longer living at home. She initially listed the unit for $4.995 million and, as The Real Deal reports, just closed for a little over $4 million. Singer has already found a new home about 20 blocks south, where she’s been settling in with her old furniture. “It’s good when you move that you have your same furniture, ’cause it makes you feel familiar and not so strange,” she recently told Bravo.

A-Rod steps up his NYC real estate game with a new partnership to buy multiple apartment buildings

Just a few weeks ago, 6sqft reported that Yankee legend Alex Rodriguez had added his first New York City property to a growing real estate empire with the purchase of a 21-unit rental building in the East Village with fellow Shark Tank investor and real estate veteran Barabara Corcoran. The new partnership announced a plan to develop a portfolio of multifamily NYC buildings in undervalued neighborhoods. Now, the New York Post reports, the retired third baseman's A-Rod Corp. has teamed up with real estate investor Ofer Yardeni of Stonehenge NYC and seasoned broker Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group to buy multiple apartment buildings and bulk condo units throughout the city.

Notorious B.I.G.’s childhood home in Clinton Hill is renting for $4K a month

Late rapper Notorious B.I.G.'s former home in Clinton Hill hit the market this week as a $4,000 per month rental, the New York Post reported. In the song "Juicy," the artist, whose real name is Christopher Wallace, refers to the apartment at 226 St. James Place as a "one-room shack." The listing describes the renovated unit as a three-bedroom home with additional office space in "the desired neighborhood of the Clinton Hill historic district."

Federal government lists Paul Manafort’s seized Trump Tower condo for $3.6M

Another Manhattan property forfeited by Paul Manafort has hit the market. The federal government is selling the Trump Tower condo once owned by the former Donald Trump campaign manager for $3.6 million, the New York Post reported. Earlier this month, the feds put Manafort's Soho apartment at 29 Howard Street on the market for $3.663 million.
