‘Barefoot Contessa’ Ina Garten asks $2M for Parisian-style Upper East Side pied-a-terre

This past August, Food Network star and famed cookbook author Ina Garten, along with husband Jeffrey, Yale University dean emeritus, dropped $4.65 million on an Upper East Side co-op at 563 Park Avenue, which they somewhat ironically bought from Nancy Novogrod, former editor-in-chief of Travel + Leisure magazine and Condé Nast’s House & Garden. Since they've now presumably settled in and made the elegant space their own, the couple has listed their nearby (smaller) pied-a-terre at 71 East 77th Street. The Post reports that the charming Daniel Romualdez-designed pad will be hitting the market for $1.97 million.

After 10 years on the market, Donald Trump’s trust looks to make $35M on lavish penthouse

The penthouse at Trump Park Avenue has been on and off the market for an entire decade, first listing for $45 million in 2007, and now returning for $35 million. As LL NYC reports, the President transferred ownership of the 6,278-square-foot apartment in January to the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, of which he's the exclusive beneficiary. Casey Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix list Soho loft for $3.9M

There seems to be a celeb exodus underfoot at the Soho co-op 533 Canal Street (aka 477 Washington Street). Just last month Kirsten Dunst re-listed her vintage-cool penthouse in the building, and now the Post reports that indie actor buddies Casey Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix have put the semi-raw duplex loft on the seventh floor that they co-own on the market for $3,895,000. This could have something to do with the fact that the pair--who co-wrote the 2010 mockumentary "I'm Still Here"--will soon be ex-brother in laws. Last year, after 13 years together, Affleck and Phoenix's sister Summer decided to part ways.

After $10M lawsuit, Sean Lennon removes tree that damaged Marisa Tomei’s parents’ house

Back in September, after a 19-month legal battle, John and Yoko Ono's son Sean was ordered by a Manhattan judge to remove a tree on his Greenwich Village property at 153 West 13th Street after neighbors Gary and Addie Tomei (parents of actress Marisa Tomei) claimed it spread roots on their property, "cracking the stoop, breaking the railings, and coming through the basement floor of their townhouse," as 6sqft explained. The Post now reports that Lennon has finally settled on the $10 million suit and removed the pesky tree.

Wilbur Ross cuts price of Billionaires’ Row penthouse for the third time

The U.S. Senate voted 72 to 27 last week to confirm billionaire investor Wilbur Ross as Commerce Secretary. And now that he'll be busy renegotiating the terms of Nafta and defending allegations of his questionable ties to Russia, the "King of Bankruptcy" is ramping up efforts to sell his ostentatious Billionaires' Row penthouse. Curbed reports that the 14-room, "European-style" apartment first hit the market in 2015 for $21 million, then got a price chop to $18.5 million at the end of last year, and has now been reduced again to $16.5 million, less than the $18 million he paid for it in 2007.

Grammy-winning producer Clive Davis lists posh Midtown co-op for $7.8M

Clive Davis, five-time Grammy Award-winning producer and current chief creative officer of Sony Music Entertainment, has an estimated net worth of $800 million, and when you've got that kind of cash, you can apparently buy seven-figure trophy co-ops and never live in them. Which is exactly what LL NYC reports he did at 465 Park Avenue, where in 2015 he bought two units for $3.4 million and combined them into one sprawling duplex. He then enlisted designer Greg Schriefer to create a contemporary and artistic version of a classic New York residence, and now that the renovations have been completed and that "things changed" for the unknown family member for whom he bought the home, it's hit the market for $7.8 million.

Emmy Rossum bids farewell to her beautiful Sutton Place pied-à-terre

Actress Emmy Rossum's perfectly outfitted pied à terre has a new owner. LLNYC reports that a buyer has just scooped up the "Shameless" star's one-bedroom charmer at 455 East 57th Street for $1.1 million. Rossum quietly listed the home last November, just a month after she invited Elle Decor over to photograph the space. The full spread shares Rossum's journey of turning the "pied-à-teardown" into an elegant escape with the help of Brooklyn interior designer Antonino Buzzetta. According to Elle, Rossum asked Buzzetta for something "chic, European, the look of a modern girl who has inherited her grandmother's stuff." "I wanted it to have a young energy, but with old-fashioned touches," she said.

Neil Patrick Harris drops $5.5M on East Hamptons’ notorious ‘orgy estate’

The Post reports that Harris and hubby David Burtka dropped $5.5 million on the sprawling estate, which sits on 13.5 acres of open meadows and gardens and boasts a tennis court, pool and pool house, renovated barn, and beachy 5,500-square-foot main home.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s all-white Tribeca penthouse gets $3M price chop and lots of listing photos

Though not notable for leading a private lifestyle (might we mention her very public "conscious uncoupling" and certain intimate products that she's touted on her blog Goop), Gwyneth Paltrow has been reticent to showcase interior photos of her Tribeca penthouse. She first listed the pad at 416 Washington Street last March for $14.25 million; after chopping the price to $12.85 million in November, she self-published a few images on Goop; but now that it's taken a third cut to $9,995,000, it looks like Gwynie is loosening up. LL NYC first spotted the new listing with Compass, which now has plenty of views, from the famous fuzzy nap zones, to the living room swing made of an antique Indoor door, to endless swaths of white marble and ethereal hand-painted wall coverings.

Bethenny Frankel lists renovated Soho loft for $5.25M

If you thought Bethenny Frankel had a scattered personality on "The Real Housewives of New York," just check out her real estate game. After splitting from ex-husband Jason Hoppy, the reality star bought a $4.2 million Soho loft in April 2015, the same month she picked up a $3 million+ Hamptons compound. She also bought a second Soho loft around that time to serve as an office for her "Skinny Girl" empire. Once the embattled couple (he was recently arrested for allegedly harassing her) finalized their divorce, she sold their former $7 million Tribeca loft this past October in just one day. People now reports that Frankel put the Soho loft at 22 Mercer Street on the market for $5.25 in order to find a larger home for herself and daughter Bryn (and from the sound of it, get away from its divorce-era juju), and she admitted to the mag that, "I have been doing really well in real estate and I’ve got the bug."
