CNN journalist Don Lemon has listed his condo in a luxury Harlem apartment building for $1.75 million, according to the New York Post. Located at 2280 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, the tower, known as 2280 FDB, is a few short blocks from Morningside Park and all that Central Harlem has to offer. The TV news anchor first bought the three-bedroom home for $1.48 million in 2013, followed by a neighboring one-bedroom unit for roughly $867,780 the next year. He sold the smaller unit in 2017 for $969,000.

Michelle Williams and Tommy Kail just bought a Brooklyn Heights townhouse for $10.8M

Actress Michelle Williams and her fiancé, theater and film director Tommy Kail (he directed the Broadway hit "Hamilton"), have just purchased a townhouse in historic Brooklyn Heights, the Wall Street Journal reports. The $10.8 million the pair reportedly paid for the 3,000-square-foot house, built in the 1820s, makes it one of the neighborhood's most expensive sales.

Sarah Jessica Parker may be selling one of her West Village townhouses

For being such a high-profile couple, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have managed to keep a fairly low profile in the West Village, but when it comes to their real estate, the gossip is inevitable. The latest whisperings come via a source who told the Post that the couple is selling their townhouse on Charles Street for $19 million off-market. In 2016, Parker and Broderick dropped $34.5 million on two adjacent townhouses on West 11th Street with the intention of combining them into one mega-mansion. While the work has been ongoing, they've been living on Charles Street, so perhaps the sale plans means their new home is ready.

Meryl Streep’s waterfront Tribeca penthouse finds a buyer for $15.8M

Roughly a year and a half after it was first listed, Meryl Streep has sold her Tribeca penthouse for $15.8 million, the Wall Street Journal reports. Located in the waterfront River Lofts condominium, the 4,000-square-foot residence has four bedrooms and a landscaped terrace that wraps around three sides of the penthouse. The revered Oscar winner bought the home with her husband, Donald Gummer, for $10.13 million in 2006. It was initially listed for $24.6 million in the summer of 2018. Following a broker switch, the price was slashed to $18.25 million, and it was relisted last August. Listing agent Juliette Janssens of Sotheby's International Realty—who held the most recent listing with Allison Koffman—told the Journal that despite selling for 36 percent less than the original asking price, the final sale still reflects a "very strong number" for today's market.

Gorgeous West Village townhouse once owned by Hilary Swank hits the market at $11M

The charming West Village townhouse that was once home to Hilary Swank is back on the market for $10.995 million (h/t Curbed). Swank and her then-husband Chad Lowe bought the four-story property at 33 Charles Street for $3.9 million in 2002 and sold it four years later for $8.25 million, a significant profit. The current owner is Harry A. Lawton III, the president of Macy's, who closed on the home in 2017 for $10.5 million, just under the current asking price.

City likely to rename Bronx block outside of Yankee Stadium after Derek Jeter

Although he's moved on to a new team and city, former Yankee Derek Jeter will always be a Bronx Bomber in the eyes of fans. As a way to honor the star shortstop and current Miami Marlins coach, two Bronx Council Members are introducing legislation to rename East 161st Street, the block in front of the stadium, "Jeter Street," as amNY first reported.

Bruce Willis sells 22-acre Westchester estate at a $5M discount

After nearly a year on the market, Bruce Willis has finally unloaded his 22-acre Westchester estate, reports the Wall Street Journal. The actor and his wife, Emma Heming Willis, first listed the property in January for $12.95 million but dropped the price to $9.4 million in August. The couple said they were selling since they planned to move back to the west coast, and they must have been quite eager, as they ultimately let it go for $7.66 million, a 41 percent discount and a big loss from the $12 million they bought it for in 2014.

Giorgio Armani buys William Randolph Hearst’s one-time Central Park West penthouse for $17.5M

T-Mobile's departing CEO John Legere first listed his palatial penthouse at 91 Central Park West for $22 million in February 2018 and progressively dropped the price to just shy of $18 million in his search for a buyer. In the end, he didn't have to look far. Giorgio Armani—who already owns a unit on the same floor—recently purchased the residence for roughly $17.5 million, as the Wall Street Journal first reported. The one-time home of publishing giant William Randolph Hearst sprawls over 3,000 square feet and comes with a 1,700-square-foot private terrace overlooking the park. Armani will combine the residence with his existing, similarly sized unit and take over the entire floor.

The Brooklyn home sits 25 feet wide at 166 Amity Street and contains five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a backyard with a disappearing heated pool and hot tub. The singer-songwriter first picked up the 19th-century pad in 2009 for $4.9 million. Unfortunately, the vintage Krakauer piano found by the back door is not included in the sale.

TV host Regis Philbin lists Connecticut mansion for a significant loss at $4.6M

88-year-old veteran television talk show host Regis Philbin (“Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee/Kelly,” “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” “America’s Got Talent”) and his wife, Joy, have put their Greenwich, Connecticut home on the market for $4.595 million (h/t WSJ). The ask is a significant drop from the home's purchase price a decade ago when the couple moved in. The 13,661-square-foot residence was built in the style of an English Manor, complete with a pool, tennis court, and a garage that holds five cars. The Philbins are selling in order to spend more time with family in California; Ms. Philbin said in a statement that “this house will always be our favorite...There was always room for everyone.”

Pritzker Prize-winning architect I.M. Pei passed away in May, leaving behind an unrivaled legacy that includes modern masterpieces such as the Louvre's glass pyramid in Paris and the National Gallery of Art's East Building in Washington D.C., as well as a slew of iconic projects here in NYC. His firm, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, was based in New York City, where Pei also lived. The Strokes guitarist bought the pad in 2012 for $1.25 million from Victoria’s Secret model Maryna Linchuk, according to the New York Post. As a rookie in the New York City real estate game, Alex Rodriguez is trying to hit it out of the park. The former New York Yankee has picked up a second apartment building, a 14-story residence in Turtle Bay, as first reported by the New York Post. In June, A-Rod bought his first major Big Apple purchase, a 21-unit rental in the East Village with Barbara Corcoran, who founded the eponymous real estate firm and is an investor on the television show Shark Tank.
