‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Ellen Pompeo lists modern Hamptons farmhouse for $3.8M

Ellen Pompeo recently listed her impossibly verdant Sag Harbor home at 1645 Millstone Road for $3.79 million, the New York Post reports. The actress, who plays the leading role of Dr. Meredith Grey in “Grey’s Anatomy,” bought the property for $925,000 in 2011. Overlooking over eight acres of rolling farmland, the newly-renovated 2,400 square-foot farmhouse, built in 2103, splits the difference between modern convenience and simple charm. The property came with a cottage that Pompeo tore down to build the current home.
The living room features a dramatic double-height ceiling, a fireplace and dark wood floors.
Through two pairs of French doors is a screened-in porch for indoor-outdoor living in warm weather.
The thoroughly modern white traditional-style kitchen includes an adjacent dining area.
Also on this floor are two bedrooms.
Upstairs is a family guest wing, a den, two additional bedrooms and a loft/office.
On the lower level are a media room and more living space; steps lead down to a heated gunite pool and bluestone patio.
The house is surrounded by green lawns, beach grasses and specimen trees. The property is in the final phase of a two lot subdivision.
