Justin Timberlake tours $18.5M mod triplex penthouse in Greenwich Village
Justin Timberlake may be bringing sexy back to Greenwich Village, as the Post reports that he was seen checking out the sprawling triplex penthouse at 12 East 13th Street. The mod pad was first listed for $30.5 million in 2013, but has since been cut nearly in half to $18.5 million. It boasts amazing architectural details like a three-story, sloped wall of glass and a dramatic sculptural staircase, as well as luxury offerings including two massive terraces and two parking spots.
The penthouse was designed by famed architect/interior designer Cetra Ruddy in collaboration with DHA Capital and Continental Properties. It has more than 5,700 square feet of living space, plus two 906-square-foot terraces. The elevator opens directly to the entry gallery, where you can immediately see the glass wall. In addition to the staircase, there’s a private internal elevator that connects all three floors.
On the 10th floor, the living room is on one side with the formal dining room and eat-in kitchen on the other. This floor also has a laundry room and one of the terraces.
The second level holds the Master suite, which comes complete with two walk-in closets and a marble-sheathed bathroom that has a floating tub in front of a wall of windows, twin sinks with custom cabinetry, private sauna, and a water closet with a toilet and bidet. On the opposite side of this floor are two more bedrooms, both with their own en-suites.
On the 12th floor, you’ll find a media room or study, as well as another bedroom suite and the second terrace.
Between 2008 and 2011, Timberlake lived in Tribeca’s Pearline Soap Factory, before relocating to a 3,000-square-foot, full-floor penthouse in Soho Mews. He still owns this unit, but the Post reports that he’s looking for more space for himself, wife Jessica Biel, and their two-year-old son Silas.
