This unit pretty much fits your idea of what a Park Slope apartment should be: it's located on a charming block with other brownstones, there are lovely interior details, and it's large enough to fit a family. (This is a neighborhood with a lot of babies.) It's a duplex with 1,400 square feet, three bedrooms and two bathrooms total. The condo is now on the rental market for $6,500 a month. It looks like condos in this building have been selling for over $1 million for the past few years -- this apartment actually closed in 2012 for $1.150 million.

This Pretty Townhouse Duplex Overlooks a Bucolic Block of Park Slope

As the listing says, this upper duplex apartment overlooks "the leafy treetops of Park Slope." Located at 127 Park Place, a lovely brownstone and treelined block of the neighborhood, you do get a good view of Brooklyn from the windows. The interior isn't too bad either, with high and detailed ceilings, fireplaces, the original wood floors, and plenty of other original details. There's no outdoor space, but there is potential to build out a roof deck up top. So how much does it cost to buy up half a historic townhouse? For three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, the price tag comes in at $2.19 million. It's high, but not too far off given that full townhouses in the neighborhood can go for $4 million.

Talk about a garden to die for. This Park Slope brownstone at 121 Lincoln Place has a backyard we wish we could camp out in this summer. The "private, lush, botanical landscaped garden," as the listing calls it, impressively extends over 86 feet. There's a shade garden in the back and a sun garden in the middle, not to mention two separate patios. As for the greenery, you've got roses, hydrangeas, honeysuckle, a rhododendron, azaleas, lilies, evergreen shrubs, a cypress, hemlock and more. Is the outdoor space enough to sell you on this home? Luckily, the interior isn't too bad either. It's on the market now for $3.795 million.

Tour Mayor de Blasio’s Park Slope Home Now Renting at $4,975 a Month

Mayor de Blasio's Park Slope clapboard house, located at 442 11th Street, has hit the rental market today, asking $4,975 a month. The 100-year-old, three-story home has a private backyard (complete with herb garden and crab apple tree) and three bedrooms...but only one bathroom, which is up on the third floor. Chiara and Dante definitely had a hand in painting their bedrooms (photos and video after the break), and the dwelling retains some of its original, historic details. It may not be Gracie Mansion, but according to its broker, this mayoral abode offers a lot for it's price.
