Complete with a garage and carriage house, $6.9M Hoboken townhouse could set a new record

A huge, historic townhouse at 614 Hudson Street in Hoboken has hit the market for $6,995,000. If it sells for this price, it'll be the biggest townhouse sale ever in Hoboken and all of Hudson County. The current record holder is 504 Hudson Street, which sold for $6.5 million back in 2016. This new contender was gut renovated in 2017, leaving the main home with 5,600 square feet of stunningly beautiful space, six bedrooms, an elevator, and a roof deck. Notably, the property also has a separate carriage house with a loft apartment, as well as a private two-car garage, which, if you know anything about parking in Hoboken, is the biggest selling point of all.

But that doesn't mean it's an affordable place for young professionals to live, which is where the new 122-unit micro-apartment property Nest comes in. Located at 190 Academy Street in Journal Square, the property is overseen by innovative multifamily property manager Common and was developed by KSNY and Strategic Properties. The fully-furnished studio apartments start at just $1,277/month and, in the creative spirit of Jersey City, are showing that affordability doesn't mean you have to sacrifice good design. (And just wait 'til you see the amenities.)

With prices climbing in Hoboken and Jersey City, commuters are looking for more affordable yet convenient options across the Hudson. Feel like you’re in the Napa Valley at this 86-acre NJ estate, asking $5.9M

A mansion, four "barns," a resort-like pool and jacuzzi, a full basketball court--these are just the main attractions at this $5,900,000 property located in Holland Township, New Jersey. The 86-acre estate feels like it's been plucked out of the Napa Valley, with its Tuscan style and rolling grounds. We're pretty certain it doesn't come with the insane sports car and classic car collections (there's even a retro mechanic shop!), but for the price of a Tribeca loft, this is quite the home.
