Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent buy swimsuit photographer’s $1.6M modern Montauk home

They just listed a fully decorated Village pad they'd bought in 2013 along with their former penthouse at 2 East 12th Street earlier this month, and the famed interior designer duo have made another real estate move, purchasing an appropriately stylish house at 53 Kettle Hole Road in Montauk that was most recently listed at $1.599 million. The seller is renowned contemporary artist and photographer Raphael Mazzucco, who has eight Vogue covers and three Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues under his belt in addition to numerous campaigns for brands like Victoria's Secret and Ralph Lauren.

When interior design couple Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent bought their former Greenwich Village penthouse in 2013, they also picked up this charming one-bedroom at nearby 2 East 12th Street. After carefully styling the space with “a mix of vintage finds and pieces from their current collections,” the duo has just listed the cozy pad for $800,000. For an added price, prospective buyers can choose to purchase the apartment fully furnished—including major bragging rights for living in a quintessential Village home, styled head-to-toe by the celebrity designers.

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Sell Greenwich Village Penthouse for $9.8M

Interior design couple Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent listed their pristine Greenwich Village penthouse in November of last year for $10.5 million. Though they undertook a beautiful update (which was featured as the cover story in last September's issue of Architectural Digest), this was a steep increase, so it's not a total surprise that the selling price came in slightly lower at $9.8 million. According to the Observer, the buyer is "financier-slash-jewelry designer" Charles de Viel Castel.

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent List Their Greenwich Village Penthouse for $10.5M

Back in September Architectural Digest dedicated a whole cover plus photo spread to Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent "settling in" to their pristine apartment, a penthouse at the Emery Roth-designed 39 Fifth Avenue in the heart of the Village. While the pair spent the better part of the piece gushing about how they'd finally found their dream home (“We couldn’t stop thinking about the apartment, believing we were meant to live there...we were able to create the home of our dreams," Brent said to AD at one point), it looks like the family, which includes their young daughter Poppy, couldn't quite get as comfy as they'd hoped, because they've just listed their spacious pad for $10.5 million.
