“Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie and her husband, communications pro Michael Feldman, have put their turn-key Tribeca loft on the market for $7,100,000. The full-floor four-bedroom received a modern renovation by AD100 architects Ike Kligerman Barkley and AD100 interior designer Monique Gibson. After calling the apartment home for over five years, the couple has decided to sell because they have a “vision and dream of living in a townhouse,” Guthrie told the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the listing.
According to city records, Guthrie and Feldman paid a little over $7,114,000 in 2017 for the apartment, which is located in a boutique full-service condominium with just 13 units. Cortnee Glasser of Sotheby’s International Realty – East Side Manhattan Brokerage has the listing.
An elevator opens directly into the home’s foyer, which leads to a south-facing great room that measures nearly 50 feet long. With three separate living spaces, oversized windows, and a stylish wet bar, the great room was designed for entertaining.
Throughout the home, the soaring concrete ceiling and custom oak millwork add an elegant industrial vibe.
Separated from the living room by unique steel-and-glass doors, the formal dining room has an antique mirror framed by a cerused oak backdrop, according to the listing.
The chef’s kitchen can be found off of the formal dining room. There’s floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, an impressive black Saint Laurent marble center island, and Gaggeneau appliances. An informal dining area with built-in cabinets is found next to the kitchen.
The primary suite takes up the east side of the apartment, with a private dressing room with a wall of closets and a huge marble-clad bath with both a deep-soaking tub and a separate shower.
And next to the primary suite is a home office with a built-in desk, closets, and a Murphy bed, the latter of which makes it easy to convert the room into a temporary guest bedroom.
Three additional bedrooms are ample in size and have plenty of closet space. Two bedrooms share a bathroom with a double vanity and the third has an en-suite bath with a glass shower.
Other perks of the home include a separate laundry room with storage, Lutron shades and lighting system, and a private storage unit. The building offers a 24-hour doorman, a fitness center, and bike room.
