Bethenny Frankel lists renovated Soho loft for $5.25M

If you thought Bethenny Frankel had a scattered personality on "The Real Housewives of New York," just check out her real estate game. After splitting from ex-husband Jason Hoppy, the reality star bought a $4.2 million Soho loft in April 2015, the same month she picked up a $3 million+ Hamptons compound. She also bought a second Soho loft around that time to serve as an office for her "Skinny Girl" empire. Once the embattled couple (he was recently arrested for allegedly harassing her) finalized their divorce, she sold their former $7 million Tribeca loft this past October in just one day. People now reports that Frankel put the Soho loft at 22 Mercer Street on the market for $5.25 in order to find a larger home for herself and daughter Bryn (and from the sound of it, get away from its divorce-era juju), and she admitted to the mag that, "I have been doing really well in real estate and I’ve got the bug."

Mike Myers’ $15M Tribeca loft finds a buyer just a month after he bought it

"It's freedom, baby, yeah!" At least from his Tribeca apartment. Mike Myers bought a $14.65 million loft in 443 Greenwich Street at the beginning of the year, but clearly had sudden a change of heart, re-listing it just a week later for the slightly higher price of $15 million. And now, only a month after purchasing the pad, it's gone into contract, according to LL NYC. Now if only he could so easily unload his $15.95 million Mercer Street penthouse.

Jon Bon Jovi’s former Soho penthouse returns for $38M

A year and a half after Austrian-American businessman and investor Gerhard Andlinger scooped up Jon Bon Jovi's Soho penthouse, he's put it back on the market. The rocker bought the sprawling duplex at 158 Mercer Street in 2007 for $24 million, then listed it in 2013 for $42 million. After several price cuts, and some interest from supermodel Heidi Klum, Andlinger paid $34 million for the home in June 2015, but it looks like he's ready to "Runaway," as LL NYC tells us that it's re-listed for $38 million.

Mike Myers relists Tribeca loft he bought a week ago for $15M

Nah, baby, nah... It took just a week for Mike Myers to change his mind about purchasing a sprawling $14.65 million loft in Tribeca's 443 Greenwich Street. The Observer reports the funnyman has just relisted the 4,241-square-foot spread for a slightly higher $15 million. While it's not clear what prompted his decision, Myers' move gives us a fresh look inside the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom condo currently being marketed by Compass. The firm incidentally is also trying to help him sell his Mercer Street penthouse, currently going for $15.95 million.

To herald the the arrival of the media maven’s new book, “The Sleep Revolution,” which addresses the common malaise of not getting enough sleep and how it’s affecting us rather terribly, Arianna Huffington has “turned her bedroom into a sleep sanctuary.” By way of a contest accompanied by an Airbnb listing–with fabulous, full-color photos of the ultra-feminine 158 Mercer Street loft, which she purchased for $8.15 million in 2012–Arianna has invited one lucky winner and a guest to spend a night in her New York City apartment.

You Can Live in Daniel Radcliffe’s Soho Apartment for $19,000 a Month

He's certainly come a long way since his "Harry Potter" days; there are no wands or wizards in sight at Daniel Radcliffe's Soho apartment, currently on the market for $19,000 a month, according to Curbed. The actor bought the two-bedroom condo at 40 Mercer Street in 2007 for $4.3 million, but has been using it mainly as a rental ever since, living instead at his townhouse at 339 West 12th Street in the West Village, which he bought in 2009 for $5.65 million. He also owns a three-bedroom apartment at 1 Morton Square, a celebrity hot spot that was once home to Amy Poehler and Will Arnett and is currently home to the Olson Twins.

We've highlighted a few projects from DHD Architecture + Interior Design before, and one thing we love about the firm’s work is their talent for combining classic spaces with modern ideals and adding unexpected twists. Their designs often feature clean, crisp lines, interesting lighting and open floor plans and integrate residents' multifaceted personalities. In this case, they work their eclectic magic on a Crosby Street loft located on a cobblestoned Soho block in that neighborhood's Cast Iron Historic District. Dating from 1882, the building, a former department store, was converted to a 10-unit condominium residence in 2001.

James Gandolfini’s Former Village Apartment Listed for $21,000/Month

The late James Gandolfini once shared a West Village apartment with his ex-wife Marcy Wudarski Gandolfini, whom he was married to from 1999 to 2002. Several years before splitting, the couple bought two adjacent units in 99 Jane Street–first an $850,000 unit and then a $1 million unit. They combined them into one large four-bedroom pad, but when they split, Wudarski kept the home, and Gandolfini went on to marry wife Deborah Line in 2008 (they were married up until his untimely death in 2013). Now, Wudarski has listed the apartment for $21,000 a month, according to the Daily News.

Live-Work Loft in SoHo is a Museum for Luxury Living

This live-work loft, currently home to a prominent art dealer and his a notably impressive art collection, was recently put on the market for $6.5 million. Located in the heart of SoHo at 84 Mercer Street, this galley-style home occupies a full floor that was gutted and rebuilt with the help of loft architect Todd Ernst. The building was first constructed in 1884, and in 1978 was declared a National Historic Landmark. The cast-iron structure features massive windows, 16' ceilings, a private elevator, and a definitively cool interior style.

NYC Condos Designed by Pritzker Prize Winners

The Pritzker Architecture Prize is architecture’s most acclaimed honor. Since 1979, the award has been given away annually to honor one living architect whose built work demonstrates consistent and significant contributions to humanity and the built environment. New York City is home to structures built by 12 of the 36 past winners — ranging from Philip Johnson to I.M. Pei to this year's winner, Shigeru Ban — and currently holds 14 residential examples of their work. One other fascinating tidbit is that condos designed by Pritzker Prize winning architects are selling on average a whopping 44% higher (price/square foot) than those their respective neighborhoods, and 47.5% higher than the Manhattan market average. But are they worth the money? Learn more about them all ahead.
