The new luxury rental residences at One Hudson Yards at 530 West 30th Street, part of Manhattan's largest new mixed-use development, have begun leasing for the 30-story building's 178 apartments which range from one to three bedrooms (and one four-bedroom penthouse) according to a press release from Related Companies. The building's architecture is by Davis Brody Bond; interiors are by Andre Kikoski, who also designed the building's peerless collection of luxury amenities. Of particular note are extra-tall windows set into a modern curtain wall façade that offer breathtaking views of out over the Hudson River, the surrounding West Chelsea neighborhood and all of Downtown Manhattan–as well as Heatherwick Studios’ "Vessel" sculpture.

This week, Corcoran realtor Alison McQueen shares her personal guide for first-time homebuyers in NYC. Many first-time homebuyers in NYC are doubtful they'll find a great place within their budget, but every single client I've worked with has closed on a home, and they say buying was one of the best decisions they ever made. To make this dream a reality, you'll want a clear understanding of your finances and how much you'd like to spend; the top five things you want in a home; and a sense of your preferred neighborhoods based on potential commute, area amenities; and ideal budget. Sound overwhelming? That's where a team of professionals comes in, including a real estate agent, real estate attorney, and home inspector. The best way to enter the purchase process is as an informed consumer, as you’ll have an easier time targeting and getting what you want. The Urban Lens: Documenting the change in Tribeca from the early 1900s to present day

When Ivan Kosnyrev and his partner moved to Tribeca from Russia three years ago, they knew no one. To get themselves acclimated with their new home, they decided their first "friend" should be the city itself. Ivan, a philosopher by education and IT manager by profession, immersed himself in New York City guide books and blogs, getting so well versed that he eventually began giving his friends informal walking tours of the area. And when he discovered the New York Public Library's OldNYC collection, an interactive map with photos from the 1870s through the 1970s, he decided to embark on a project that he could share with even more people. After selecting a group of archival Tribeca images, he went out and took present-day snapshots of the same locations, providing a neighborhood-specific view of just how much NYC has changed (and in some cases, hasn't!) over the past 100 years.

Live in the French Country-style home where Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe married for $1.7M

Although the marriage between Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe didn’t last long, the home where the two held their 1956 wedding certainly stood the test of time. The charming French Country-style home at 122 East Ridge Road in Waccabuc, New York has hit the market for $1.675 million (h/t LLYNC). Jon Bon Jovi tries to sell West Village duplex as part of a $30M combo unit

Jon Bon Jovi hasn't released a new album in quite some time, but one way he's managed to stay in the spotlight is his real estate game. In 2015, he sold his Soho penthouse for $34 million, shortly thereafter picking up a sprawling duplex condo at new celeb-favorite 150 Charles Street for $13 million. Less than two months ago, he listed the West Village pad for $17.25 million, but he's already gotten impatient, now offering the pad as part of a $29.5 million combo unit with the neighboring duplex according to Curbed.

Rent Stella McCartney’s laid-back Hamptons beach cottage for $30,000/month

This Hamptons beach cottage may not be super fashion-forward, but considering Stella McCartney's tailored style and commitment to animal rights, it makes sense that the designer would opt for a more laid-back look. And if this fresh, summery aesthetic appeals to you, you're in luck; the Observer reports that McCartney and her husband Alasdhair Willis, the creative director of Hunter boots, have listed the Napeague Bay house as a $30,000 a month rental (or $20,000 after the summer). The couple bought the property, along with the adjacent empty lot, for $1.7 million last August, opting for an Amagansett location not far from where Paul McCartney has owned a large estate since the '90s.

The Soho cooperative 57 Thompson Street is full of apartments we like: like this cozy one bedroom asking $730,000 last year, or this dreamy two bedroom that was up for rent, or this straightforward one bedroom asking $625,000 last fall. Next up is the studio apartment #5F, now on the rental market for $2,500 a month. Emma Stone’s former Chelsea townhouse gets a price chop and new looks inside

Back in January 6sqft reported that the 25-by-85-foot landmarked Greek Revival townhouse at 436 West 20th Street--with 9,000 square feet of interior space and a fully-stacked celebrity pedigree--had been re-listed for $19.75 million. The home, whose residents have included Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Glenn Close, Courtney Love and Olivier Sarkozy, has been on the market since 2010. Returning this summer for $18.75 million, the Chelsea home's five-unit configuration might prove daunting to prospective buyers, though a thorough structural and aesthetic renovation in 2013 plus the promise of almost $600,000 a year in rent certainly sound like positive attributes.

One of NYC’s rare rooftop ‘cottages’ is for sale, asking $3.5M in the East Village

The listing calls the two-unit, three-story property that tops the condominium building at 72 East 1st Street "the most unique property in the East Village," and while it may not be the entire city's most interesting, it's definitely among them. The lower unit is a full-floor penthouse duplex, above which is perched a perfect replica of a New England cottage. The property is for sale for $3.5 million; while much has been written about the city's handful of rooftop cabins and cottages, they rarely appear on the market. In this case, the Nantucket-style cottage is an artists' studio, which makes it even cooler.

Food Network darling Katie Lee selling decked-out Hamptons estate for $5.5M

In a recent Instagram post, Food Network's Katie Lee revealed how she's able to feast on lobster rolls and fried chicken seemingly every day--with daily two-hour workouts in her Water Mill home's custom Tracy Anderson gym. In addition to the studio, "The Kitchen" co-host, cookbook author, and ex-wife of Billy Joel, decked out her Hamptons estate with a full outdoor kitchen complete with a pizza oven, climate-controlled wine cellar, home theater with stadium seating, and 42-foot-long heated pool. Lee first tried to unload the home two summers ago for $6.5 million, but now that she's become a much more recognizable lifestyle influencer and has her own Cooking Channel show, "Beach Bites," she seems more eager to move on, re-listing the property and reducing the price to $5.5 million (h/t NYP).

First look at Central Park Tower’s palatial amenity spaces and apartment layouts

We expected that Central Park Tower, the city's tallest-tower-to-be swiftly rising at 225 West 57th Street, would be giving Midtown record-smashers like 432 Park Avenue a run for their trophy-tower money. And now newly-revealed details uncovered from the building's EB-5 brochure offer a first glimpse of what the upcoming supertall's rivals could be up against. The preliminary overseas marketing images spotted by CityRealty show off the 1,550-foot-tall building's apartment layouts and the ultra-luxe amenity spaces that will sit high above the hotel and Nordstrom, the building's flagship retail tenant. Developer Gary Barnett's new condo development is the most expensive ever attempted in the city and is projecting a $4 billion sellout including retail and hotel tenants.

Cozy Yorkville duplex with a private terrace asks $575K

Just two blocks away from the new Second Avenue subway stop at 96th Street is this very adorable duplex co-op. It's located at 226 East 95th Street, in Yorkville, a small 29-unit elevator cooperative. This particular apartment last sold in 2014 for $475,000 and is now asking $575,000. Rebel Wilson is latest celeb to buy at Tribeca’s 443 Greenwich Street

Tribeca‘s 443 Greenwich Street claims to be "paparazzi-proof" thanks to its underground garage and interior courtyard, but there must be something more than those not-so-rare amenities that's drawing a celebrity roster like we've never seen. The latest big name to buy in the building is Rebel Wilson; WWD reports that the Australian actress, of "How to be Single" and "Pitch Perfect" fame, dropped $2.95 million on a two-bedroom condo, joining the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Meg Ryan, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, and Harry Styles.

Celebrity hotspot 443 Greenwich reveals ‘ultimate’ lofts

A-listers like Jake Gyllenhaal, Meg Ryan, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lawrence, and Harry Styles have all flocked to the desirable “paparazzi-proof” Tribeca building at 443 Greenwich Street, also known as the city's "celebrity dorm." Now, with more than $500 million in total sales under their belts, the property’s developer MetroLoft and real estate agency Cantor-Pecorella have revealed the building's “Ultimate Collection,” which includes the last penthouse listed for $55 million and six other apartments that range from $9 million to $11.25 million.
