‘The Simpsons’ actor Hank Azaria lists Westchester farmhouse for $3.25M
Actor and comedian Hank Azaria–best known for voicing “The Simpsons” characters like Moe Szyslak and Chief Wiggum, as well as his guest-star roles in “Mad About You” and “Friends”–has put his antique Westchester farmhouse on the market for $3,250,000. Located in the hamlet of Bedford Corners, the main house was built in 1890 and sits on four acres. After purchasing the home, Azaria added a beautiful pool and a poolhouse meant to evoke an 18th-century barn.
According to listing agent Brian Milton’s Instagram post, “As soon as this famed comedian/actor stepped on this property, he knew it was just what he was looking for. For him, it was the way the property was positioned on the land offering privacy, comfort and country views from every window.”
Milton explains that Azaria “invested many loving upgrades into the home to maintain the authentic farmhouse quality while modernizing with meticulous details.”
Azaria told Milton that his favorite part of the home is the open family room/kitchen that he created. This space then leads to the two-story sunroom and, in turn, the pool. “This easy flow is the heart of the home, especially during long summer days and nights,” explains Milton.
The patio off the sunroom and the kitchen is perfect for outdoor entertaining.
The formal living room acts as a fun, game room for the family.
Above the sunroom is a lofted office space that also gets great natural light.
Also on the second level are the primary bedroom suite and three additional bedrooms.
Outside, a bluestone patio surrounds the beautiful pool. The pool house features an outdoor shower and a covered kitchen.
There’s more space for outdoor cooking with a built-in barbecue grill.
Gorgeous gardens sit next to the three-car garage, above which is a one-bedroom guest apartment.
