A new seven-story residential building in East New York launched a lottery for 40 affordable apartments last week. Located at 365 Shepherd Avenue, Shepherd Glenmore offers tenants state-of-the-art apartments and modern amenities at affordable prices. New Yorkers earning 30, 50, and 60 percent of the area median income can apply for the units, priced from $544/month studios to $1,864/month two bedrooms.
Developed by Lois Murphy of Shepherd Glenmore HDFC and designed by MHG Architects, the building includes 123 residences, according to Yimby.
The property features two large community rooms, a fitness center, a wellness room, a computer lab, and a landscaped courtyard with a community garden, all designed to promote healthy living. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi and a laundry room.
Each apartment boasts state-of-the-art appliances, large windows, and high-end finishes, providing residents with a perfect balance of luxury and functionality.
Permits for the building were filed in February 2023, as reported by Yimby.
Shepherd Glenmore is conveniently located one block away from the Shepherd Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C subway lines.
