Applications are now being accepted for 41 middle-income apartments in two new residential towers on the Astoria waterfront. Located at 20 and 30 Halletts Point, the buildings are part of the second phase of the massive Halletts Point development, which aims to deliver over 2,000 new homes. The towers offer tenants brand-new, modern residences with stunning views of the East River and Manhattan skyline. New Yorkers earning 120 percent of the area median income can apply for the units, priced from $3,261/month studios to $4,194/month two bedrooms.

Developed by the Durst Organization and designed by Handel Architects, 20 and 30 Halletts Point rise 26 and 31 stories, respectively, bringing 647 total homes to the neighborhood, according to CityRealty.
The two towers are the third and fourth buildings to open as part of the seven-building Halletts Point complex. The two buildings feature the first phase of a 58,000-square-foot waterfront esplanade and 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
Both are expected to achieve LEED Platinum certification. Throughout the construction process, 84 percent of debris has been diverted from landfills, and recycled glass has been incorporated into the foundations and superstructure.
All apartments feature double-pane, floor-to-ceiling windows, light oak flooring, kitchens with Energy Star appliances, transparent shades in the living rooms, blackout shades in the bedrooms, smart controls for heating and cooling, and in-unit washers and dryers.
The complex includes 10 Halletts Point, a two-tower development with 400 apartments, and 3-24 27th Avenue, a 100-percent affordable building.

Residents have access to amenities across 10, 20, and 30 Halletts Point, including an outdoor terrace with a pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, several lounges, and play spaces for kids. Plus, there’s direct access to a public waterfront esplanade with a playground, picnic area, and seating.
Additional services include Amazon package lockers, bike storage, private storage, and on-site parking garages.
Leasing for market-rate apartments at the development launched in January, with current availability at 20 Halletts Point starting at $3,456/month. Move-ins are expected this spring.
Halletts Point offers residents free shuttle service to the N and W subway lines at Astoria Boulevard station. The closest bus routes are the Q19, Q69, and Q100, while the NYC Ferry is located just south of the property.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the apartments until May 16, 2025. Complete details on how to apply are available here.
