Applications are now being accepted for 56 middle-income apartments at a brand new luxury building in Crown Heights. Facing Brooklyn’s historic thoroughfare, 409 Eastern Parkway sits just one block from bustling Franklin Avenue and two blocks from the Brooklyn Museum, Botanic Garden, and Prospect Park. Plus, the building offers residents more than 17,000 square feet of amenities, including a fitness center, pet spa, children’s playroom, co-working spaces, landscaped roof with bocce ball courts, and more. Qualifying New Yorkers earning 80 and 120 percent of the area median income can apply for the units, ranging from a $1,168/month studio to a $2,759/month two-bedroom.
All 186 residences feature an open-floor layout with in-unit washer/dryer, kitchens with Caesarstone countertops and stainless steel appliances, and bathrooms with soaking tubs. As the building’s website reads: “Engaging new apartments woven into the fabric of an established community are rising in the heart of Brownstone Brooklyn.”
According to CityRealty, available market-rate units at 409 Eastern Parkway are offering up 1.5 months free with a new lease and start at about $2,600/month for a studio and $3,124/month for a one-bedroom. A two-bedroom, eighth-floor unit is asking $4,556/month.
Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the affordable apartments at 409 Eastern Parkway until June 25, 2019.
