Chloe Sevigny’s glamorous $2.75M Park Slope co-op goes into contract

December 22, 2016

Just 42 days after it hit the market for $2.75 million, and a mere two days since 6sqft and other media outlets reported on it, Chloe Sevigny’s Park Slope co-op has gone into contract, a tipster tells us. The Indie actress bought the pre-war spread at 9 Prospect Park West for $2,053,000 in 2013, after which she completed a renovation that created a chic space with “a sophisticated mix of classic furniture and interesting artwork.”

The four-bedroom, 2,100-square-foot home has a formal foyer, a decorative fireplace and beamed ceilings in the living room, and cerused oak floors throughout.

A major part of the renovation took place in the kitchen, where the original pantry (now a home office) provided inspiration for the kitchen’s new cabinetry. Polished concrete floors, white subway tiles on the walls and backsplashes, and black granite counters were other additions.

As 6sqft previously reported, Sevigny moved to Brooklyn after selling her East Village garden apartment for $1.76 (a decision she made after the ‘hood became too much like a frat house for her). She then settled on the “dorkiest, hokiest neighborhood” as a way to avoid “hip” Brooklyn. No word yet on where she’ll go next, but we’d guess somewhere still a bit under-the-radar.
