Knicks player Lance Thomas scores $3.56M Tribeca condo
Nets players might be gobbling up Brooklyn real estate, but when it comes to the Knicks it’s all about staying near MSG in Manhattan. Recently, both Sasha Vujacic and Kristaps Porzingis rented units in Midtown West’s fitness-centric Sky, and Joakim Noah picked up a $6 million Chelsea penthouse. Now, forward Lance Thomas is settling down a bit farther south, as LLNYC reports that he dropped $3.56 million on a sprawling Tribeca triplex at 52 Lispenard Street, which makes sense since he recently inked a four-year, $27 million deal with the team.
The 2,518-square-foot, two-bedroom townhouse residence occupies the lower three floors of 52 Lispenard, a seven-story condo that’s a combination of two landmarked 19th century buildings.
The home is distinguished by its double-height great room with a three-story glass wall that stretches from the top to bottom of the home and overlooks the private rear outdoor space. There’s Italian oak floors, recessed LED art lighting, and a marble clean-burning fireplace in the living room.
The open, custom-designed eat-in kitchen has marble counters and backsplashes and high-end appliances including a wine cooler, wall oven, and vented cooktop.
On the upper level is is the master suite, which is open to the great room below.
The lower level is accessed by an Italian oak spiral staircase. It’s an open studio space that could be used as a second bedroom or entertainment space.
