Kylie Jenner may have bought a $7M Tribeca penthouse
Unlike big sis Kim, Kylie Jenner may actually be paying for her NYC digs. Tribeca Citizen first reported information from an anonymous source that the model and youngest member of the Kardashian clan purchased a Tribeca penthouse, and Curbed determined, based on an Instagram photo and sales records, that it may be the $7 million top-floor unit at 15 Leonard Street. The five-bedroom triplex not only has luxurious interior details like floating concrete stairs and a limestone-clad master bath, but it boasts six outdoor terraces (perfect for setting up film crews).
The Instagram in question is the one above that shows a newly-blonde Kylie posing on the terrace with 56 Leonard in the background.
Enter the 4,574-square-foot home through a private elevator to the 8th floor entertaining space, which has 60 feet of south-facing frontage, along with heated slab stone flooring and a smokeless clean-burning glass fireplace with 10-foot limestone surround.
The dining room comes with a wine bar, and the open kitchen is flanked by two terraces and has custom Italian matte white lacquer and wood cabinetry, Caeserstone countertops, and a marble slab backsplash. In addition to the normal lineup of high-end appliances, there’s a six-burner gas range, wine fridge, hot water dispenser, and espresso coffee system.
A set of polished concrete stairs with floating walnut treads leads down to the lower level that houses the five bedrooms and a laundry room. The master has a private terrace and spa-like bath. On the top floor, “a peaceful haven for indoor/outdoor gatherings,” is a second living room, dining area, and two terraces, one of which has a built-in grill.
As Curbed points out, the penthouse was purchased in mid-August by Leonard-Hudson LLC for $7.07 million. And though Kylie isn’t staying for free like Kim and Kanye (courtesy of Airbnb), she did get quite the deal; the apartment was originally listed for $18.5 million. She’ll also be just a half mile away from Kimye.
