The building has quite the celebrity cachet. Rolling Stones guitar player Keith Richards listed his own four-bedroom apartment at the same building for $12.2 million last week. TV Sitcom Director James Burrows (known for “Cheers,” “Frasier,” “Will & Grace,” and “Friends”) is also a neighbor. He and his wife, hairstylist Debbie Easton, bought a one-bedroom apartment for $4.2 million last year.

To be super rich like he was, I expected his ”digs” to be a lot fancier, and more modern, altho, he is quit older/mature

Always admired this building as a youngster. My great uncle – William B. Clarke lived at One Fifth Avenue for most of his life from 1933 until his death in 1969. Fond memories visiting there way back when. Still an impressive building. Jeffrey Ralli , Chester, NJ
