This ‘Map of Every City’ in the World Is Hilariously Spot On

This “Map of Every City,” penned by Chaz Hutton (via Big Think) supplies us with a bite-sized answer to the question we’ve probably all asked at one time or another — why do all major cities seem to be carbon copies of one another? And chances are there’s at least one burg in your borough that fits the description of “Cool Area That Your Parents Would Have Avoided in the ’80s.”
Whether every clever enclave described here corresponds to one in the city you know best, the whole thing reflects a a good mashup of our search for tribe and the unfortunate necessity of finding an Apple store when our charger craps out. It’s also worth noting that the winds of change can affect “every city” similarly, such as when houses in “The Area You Only Bother Going To Because That’s Where IKEA Is” start selling for over a million.
