Photographer Barry Rosenthal Designs Home Accessories Inspired by Nature
NYC resident and photographer Barry Rosenthal is known for finding inspiration in the great outdoors (you may remember our spotlight on him here), and now he’s taking that inspiration beyond the lens just in time for the gift-giving season. Mr. Rosenthal has recently released a series of home accessories, including a set of rocks glasses and decorative pillows, so you can bring the beauty of nature into your living space permanently, or share it with your friends and family.
The $48 set of glasses titled, “on the rocks,” includes four glasses each wrapped in a different stone surface captured by the photographer. The surfaces depict intricate, geological patterns that will add the perfect amount of organic flair to your barware. The glasses are made in New Jersey and the full photo wraps are applied in Las Vegas.
In addition to the glasses, Rosenthal also created two decorative pillow designs, one featuring Timothy Grass and the other Ferns. The botanical art, again photographed by Rosenthal, is printed on oversized cotton canvas pillows, and the images are enlarged and placed on the all-white background to accentuate their color and form. The $98 pillows are made in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
