Supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen Snags a Stunning $3M Carroll Gardens Townhouse
Supermodel and one-time Karl Lagerfield muse Freja Beha Erichsen has just scooped up a gorgeous Carroll Gardens townhouse for $3 million, according to city records. The edgy model’s purchase comes as a bit of a surprise—as we would have guessed her to be more of a Williamsburg loft buyer than one looking in crunchy Carroll Gardens—but with one look at the gorgeous brick home, it’s easy to see what pulled the Danish beauty in.
The three-story, three-bedroom family home is situated on a lush and verdant block known for its wide sidewalks and its locale in the heart of one the Brooklyn’s most coveted neighborhoods. The property has been carefully restored–renovated to preserve the tin ceilings, moldings and other architectural gems, while amenities like central air conditioning and top of the line kitchen and baths bring the home into modern times.
Three bedrooms and two full baths are located on the third floor, while a front parlor, rear living room, and home office can be found on the parlor floor. An eat-in kitchen, dining room and brand new full bath are located on the ground floor.
The home also boasts a screening room on the basement level, which the listing touted as a “rarely available amenity in a townhouse.”
But it’s the gorgeous planted back and front gardens that really have us green with envy.
The home was originally listed for $3,300,000 and sold for 9.09% less than asking. Evan Danzig of Douglas Elliman was the buying agent.
