You can now book a visit to Governors Island’s lavish new Italian spa

Get ready to relax. Ticket sales officially launched on Thursday for QC NY, a lavish European day spa on Governors Island. The spa will feature outdoor thermal pools with views of Manhattan, steam rooms and saunas, and a wellness-focused cafe. Tickets will be sold for dates starting September 1, with limited preview tickets available in August.
The day spa takes up three landmarked buildings that were formerly used as military barracks and have since been restored. Landscaped grounds and the outdoor pools will surround the three spa buildings, which will take up more than 75,000 square feet.
QC NY boasts 20 water-focused wellness experiences, including a Vichy shower and a panoramic pool overlooking the New York Harbor. Guests can also purchase various massage treatments, customizable by music, technique, and aroma, according to a press release.
The QC NY on Governors Island will be the first location outside of Europe. Brothers Saverio and Andrea Quadrio Curzio founded QC Terme Spas and Resorts in 1982, citing the history of ancient Roman baths as the source of their inspiration.

We truly believe this opening couldn’t come at a better time. Now more than ever, we all need and deserve mental and physical self-care. QC NY is the perfect place to relax, revive, and restore.”
QC NY will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with extended hours until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Day passes start at $88, which includes access to the spa, amenities, and roundtrip ferry fare. Food and drink cost extra, as do massages, which range in price from $100 to $250.
