Applications are currently being accepted for 53 mixed-income apartments at a new luxury rental in Crown Heights. Located between Grand and Classon Avenues, the building at 1010 Pacific Street, dubbed Pacific House, rises nine stories, contains 175 total units, and offers residents a fitness center, a unique library room, and a large landscaped rooftop. New Yorkers earning 80 and 130 percent of the area median income can apply for the apartments, priced from $1,576/month for studios.

Developed by the NY Building Associates Inc. and designed by J. Frankl Associates and StudiosC, the building is 95 feet tall and has a total of 175 residences, according to the application approved by the Department of Buildings.

StudiosC describes the building’s design as bridging the gap between brick rowhomes and warehouses that “straddle this site,” with a brick facade and interiors that feature warm materials. The building borders Atlantic Avenue, a busy stretch of Brooklyn slated for rezoning.

According to the building’s website, current market-rate availabilities start at $3,025/month for a studio, $3,652/month for a one-bedroom, and $4,446/month for a two-bedroom.

Apartments boast open-concept layouts, oak floors, energy-efficient appliances, dishwashers, and air conditioning. Select units have private outdoor terraces.

Amenities include a double-height lobby, a fitness center, a co-working space with a cafe, a library bridge with reading nooks, a kid’s playroom, a media room with a bar, and a pet spa. The expansive rooftop has landscaped walking paths, lounge seating, a play area, grills, and an outdoor firepit. The building also has a private garage with assigned spaces and electric vehicle charging stations.

The nearest public transit options include S, A, C, 2, 3, 4, and 5 subway lines and the B48 and B65 buses.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the affordable units until March 21, 2023. Preference for 50 percent of the units will be given to residents of Brooklyn Community District 8. Complete details on how to apply are available here. Questions regarding this offer must be referred to NYC’s Housing Connect department by dialing 311.
