Apply for 41 middle-income units at Bushwick’s Rheingold Brewery site, from $1,432/month

September 12, 2018

A lottery launched on Wednesday for 41 middle-income units at 115 Stanwix Street, a building which is part of the Rabsky Group’s redevelopment of the Rheingold Brewery site in Bushwick. Designed by ND Architecture & Design, the eight-story development sits between Montieth Street and Flushing Avenue. Qualifying New Yorkers earning 80 and 130 percent of the area median income can apply for the units, which range from $1,432/month one-bedrooms to a $3,225 three-bedrooms.

In addition to the Stanwix site, Rabsky is overseeing 10 Montieth Street, a 392-unit building designed by ODA. And the design of All Year Management’s sprawling, European-village-inspired development next door at 54 Noll Street and 123 Melrose Street is also being handled by ODA. Together the three buildings will bring more than 1,500 apartments to the area.

Amenities at 115 Stanwix include 65 enclosed parking spaces, bike parking, a laundry room, a gym, theater room and lounge. Residents will have access to the J, L and M trains, as well as a handful of Brooklyn-bound buses.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the affordable apartments at 115 Stanwix Street until November 12, 2018. Complete details on how to apply are available here (pdf). Questions regarding this offer must be referred to NYC’s Housing Connect department by dialing 311.
