New marble-clad interior renderings revealed for Bjarke Ingels’ High Line-facing XI

Back in April, 6sqft brought you a new batch of renderings showing Bjarke Ingels and developer HFZ Capital’s XI (or the Eleventh) at 76 Eleventh Avenue ahead of a May 7 sales launch. The West Chelsea hotel-condo project is notable not only for being Ingels’ first NYC condo project but for its asymmetrical, twisting silhouette. Those renderings showcased the pair of towers and their sky-bridge, along with, for the first time, the central courtyard and an apartment interior. Now, as Curbed learned, we get a preview of the project’s interiors, clad in several different flavors of dramatically-veined creamy beige and white statement marble and pale chevron flooring with wood accents–and stunning NYC and river views in every direction.
The East Tower’s decor was created by Gilles & Boissier, with high-end finishes like chevron flooring, custom Italian cabinetry and Calacatta Gold marble countertops in kitchens and marble-wrapped bathrooms.
The East Tower will also contain a Six Senses Hotel which will boast a porte-cochère and a concierge desk crafted of smoked wood and– you guessed it–marble.
The West Tower’s 146 apartments have interiors by Gabellini Sheppard Associates. The interiors there are inspired by Old Hollywood glamour, with wide-plank floors, custom wood doors and luxurious baths with free-standing soaking tubs.
Soaring above the lobby are 23-foot ceilings, with a fireplace and a sculptural desk crafted from basalt, bronze, and limestone below.
Prices start at $2.8 million for one-bedrooms, $3.9 million for two-bedrooms, $6.5 million for three-bedrooms, $9 million for four-bedrooms, and $25 million for the half-floor penthouses. Amenities include a 4,000-square-foot fitness center with a 75-foot-long pool, a lounge and gallery in the glass sky-bridge, a wine tasting room, game room, and access to Six Senses. The building is expected to be complete by the end of 2019.
