Kristen Stewart buys a $5.6M fixer-upper artists’ loft in Noho
Kristen Stewart just purchased a potential-filled Noho artists’ loft at 1 Bond Street, the New York Observer reports. The “Twilight Saga” actress and model snagged a 3,000-square-foot fixer-upper in the historic Robbins & Appleton building that boasts three exposures, Corinthian columns, a “highly customizable floor plan” and endless possibilities–for $5.64 million.
Initially owned by a watch case maker, the 1877 landmark building was converted to luxury condominiums in 1988. Stewart, who has reportedly been dating Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell for the past year, could be looking for an East Coast complement to Maxwell’s Los Feliz home in Los Angeles.
The apartment last changed hands for $600,000 in 2010 and was listed again for $7 million a mere four years later in March of 2014. Still on the market two years on, the loft took a time-out and returned to the scene in March 2017 for the price Stewart paid for it.
Fellow model Gigi Hadid is now a neighbor at 10 Bond Street, though she chose a glass-clad, luxury-laden apartment that couldn’t be more different from a raw loft space.
