Barnes Coy Architects added all-white interiors to this contemporary Hamptons home
Those of us New Yorkers lucky enough to be heading out to the Hamptons this weekend may not as lucky to shack up in a stunning abode like this, but we all can dream. This contemporary home from Barnes Coy Architects is located in picturesque East Quogue and was strategically designed to feature views of both the Atlantic Ocean to the south and Shinnecock Bay to the north, all highlighted by stark white interiors.
The exterior is dominated by massive balconies that provide optimal exposure to the ocean front.
Due to specific zoning restrictions, the architects were unable to place the outdoor swimming pool on the ocean side of the home. Instead, they created an expansive backyard and pool area fully integrated into the structure. This area also includes a gym and poolside lounge.
As part of this integration, the rooftop terrace overlooks the pool and functions as the primary entertaining space.
In keeping with the home’s modern appeal, the interior color palette is dominated by white and light colored wood.
The stark white kitchen island has a wave-like texture, and the only thing breaking up the sleek white cabinetry are the stainless steel appliances.
An all-inclusive and all-white game room is located on the lower level adjacent to the pool and complete with white pool table and foosball table.
Even the bedroom and master closet are decked out in all white accessories.
