It’s time to get into the holiday spirit in New York. The annual Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is returning for its 23rd season later this month. Starting on October 25, the festive event features New York City’s only free-admission ice skating, the park’s iconic open-air holiday market featuring more than 180 small businesses, a rinkside food hall and bar, heated private igloos, and more. The Winter Village is open through March 2, 2025.
At the center of the winter wonderland is the city’s largest free-admission ice-skating rink, spanning 17,000 square feet. Open daily, it offers skate sessions and rentals for both children and adults throughout the holiday season.
Adjacent to the rink is the warm and cozy Lodge, where visitors can sip cocktails and enjoy food as they watch ice skaters glide. This area also features indoor and outdoor spaces and TV screens to watch sports.
Debuting in early November, visitors can rent out their own private heated igloos for their friends and family, perfect for small gatherings, birthday parties, date nights, or simply to warm up after skating.
Hosted by Urbanspace, the holiday market is open daily from October 25 through January 5, 2025. This year’s market will feature over 180 new and returning vendors, including four minority-owned small businesses from NYC, showcasing their goods for free on a rotating basis through Bank of America’s Small Business Spotlight.
Featured small businesses include Brooklyn’s What a Cutie from October 25 to November 12, Queens-based Doosra from November 13 to December 21, Manhattan’s eat2explore from December 2 to 18, and Paige’s Candle Co. from December 19 to January 5, 2025.
