D and F rerouted, 4, A and C skipping tens of stops, and other weekend subway service horrors

Beginning this weekend (well, 5am Monday morning), the 163 St-Amsterdam A and C stop will be closing in both directions at all times until the fall. A full load of brutal if temporary service changes will further frustrate straphangers this weekend, with the 4, A, and C trains in particular skipping a larger number of stops. The F and D will be significantly rerouted in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and 2 and 3 service remains suspended between the two boroughs.
There is no weekend 2 or 3 service between Brooklyn and Manhattan, and thus no service at Park Place, Wall St, Clark St and Hoyt St.
2 trains replace weekend 5 service between Dyre Av and E 180 St.
New Lots Av-bound 4 trains skip 33, 28, 23 Sts, Astor Pl, Bleecker, Spring and Canal Sts. Woodlawn-bound trains skip 161 St, 167 St, 170 St, Mt Eden Av and 176 St. Service operates every 16 minutes between 125 St and Woodlawn.
5 trains replace weekend 2 service between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St.
Brooklyn Bridge-bound 6 trains run express from Parkchester to 3 Av-138 St and skip 33, 28, 23 Sts, Astor Pl, Bleecker, Spring and Canal Sts.
Queensboro Plaza-bound 7 trains skip 111, 103, 90 and 82 Sts. No 7 trains between Queensboro Plaza and Times Sq-42 St. Free shuttle buses making all stops between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av provide alternate service.
Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound A trains skip 163, 155, 135, 116, 110, 103, 96, 86, 81, 72, 50, 23, and Spring Sts. Beginning this Monday, March 12, at 5am, 163 St-Amsterdam Av will close in both directions until the fall.
Euclid Av-bound C trains skip 163, 155, 135, 116, 110, 103, 96, 86, 81, 72, 50, 23 and Spring Sts.
42 Street Shuttle service operates overnight from 12:01am to 6am Saturday to Monday until March 12.
B train service ends early, at 9pm Friday.
No Coney Island-bound D service at 7 Av, 47-50 Sts, 42 St-Bryant Pk and 34 St-Herald Sq. Coney Island-bound D trains run via the C from 145 St to W 4 St. D trains run via the F in both directions between W 4 St and Stillwell Av. F trains replace D trains between W 4 St and Stillwell Av.
Coney Island-bound F trains skip Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av, and 25 St. F service operates between Jamaica-179 St and W 4 St and via the D to/from Stillwell Av.
M service ends early between 71 Av and Essex St. No M trains between Myrtle-Wyckoff Av and Myrtle Av (Broadway). Free shuttle buses provide alternate service between Myrtle Av and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs, stopping at Central Av and Knickerbocker Av every 20 minutes.
Astoria-bound N trains make local stops at 53, 45, 36, 25 Sts, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St. Coney Island-bound N trains run express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 59 St, Brooklyn.
Bay Ridge-bound R trains run express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 59 St, Brooklyn.
Special W train service operates between Whitehall St and Ditmars Blvd.
Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated above are subject to change and worsen.
