James Gandolfini’s former West Village apartment sells for $6.2M

July 16, 2018

After nine months on the market, the late James Gandolfini’s one-time West Village apartment that he shared with ex-wife Marcy Wudarski Gandolfini has found a buyer. In 1999, the couple bought one unit at 99 Jane Street for $850,000, followed by another for $1 million in 2002, combining them into one large, four-bedroom condo. Marcy took ownership the following year after they split, and the residence first hit the market in 2015 as a $21,000/month rental before listing for $7.5 million this past October. Mansion Global now reports that the home has sold for $6.2 million.

The main living space of the home is surrounded by oversized casement windows facing north, south, and east. The great room is 30 feet long and looks out over the building’s courtyard (which you’ll get a lovely view of from the window seat).

Throughout the 3,200-square-foot residence are 10-foot ceilings and maple floors.

Off the great room is a formal dining room and kitchen, making entertaining easy. The kitchen is equipped with Sub Zero and Viking appliances.

There are two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms off the living area.

Across the entry hallway is a separate den and the third bedroom/bath.

At the end of the hallway is the master suite, complete with a five-piece en-suite bath, dressing room, and walk-in closet.
