The Harlem-based developer, Artimus Construction, first filed permits for Alvista Towers in 2015. Designed by GF55 Partners, the residential building sits near Jamaica’s transit hub, including the E, J and Z trains, the LIRR and the AirTrain to JFK.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the affordable apartments until January 2, 2018. Residents of Queens Community Board 12 will be given preference for 50 percent of the units.
