The M train is not running this weekend, a fact the MTA buries in the second sentence of a note about station improvements along the J line. As well, beginning the Monday, the 167th Street B and D station will be joining the slew of other “temporarily closed” stations until January 2019. Strangely, the MTA does not list any service changes for the L train, despite an extended closure of weekend service between Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Queens-bound A trains run via the F from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech – no Queens-bound service at Spring, Canal, Chambers, Fulton and High streets. D trains will not run between 34 St-Herald Sq and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr – buses operate between W 4 St and Grand St, stopping at B’way-Lafayette St. D trains skip Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av and 25 St.

Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated above are subject to change and worsen.
