NYC’s highest residential outdoor space revealed at Hudson Yards
The first phase of the Hudson Yards megaproject, including the public square and gardens and its centerpiece, Vessel, as well as The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, anchored by NYC’s first Neiman Marcus store, is preparing to open this spring. Now, Fifteen Hudson Yards has revealed Skytop, the highest outdoor residential space in NYC at 900 feet in the air, and an equally dizzying suite of amenities for residents at the Rockwell Group and Diller Scofidio + Renfro-designed 88-story tower.
As if shoppable interiors designed by the fashion director of Neiman Marcus weren’t notable enough, the newly-revealed wonderland in the clouds features an open-air terrace enveloped in a 60-foot-tall glass screen wall providing spectacular Hudson River views. Custom made 3D-carved wooden planters provide a place to relax under 14-foot-tall multi-stemmed white oak trees. Two indoor event spaces–a private dining room and a lounge–flank the outdoor area and offer residents the opportunity to reserve all or sections of the Skytop for private events. The lounge includes intimate seating, while the dining room includes a catering kitchen, bar and dining table that seats up to 18 guests.
Fifteen Hudson Yards offers residents of the building’s 285 homes 40,000 square feet of amenities occupying the building’s 50th and 51st floors, including an aquatics center with a 75-foot-long swimming pool, whirlpool, private spa with treatment rooms, a beauty bar, fitness center outfitted by The Wright Fit, a children’s imagination center, screening room, golf club lounge, wine storage and tasting room, business center with dual conference rooms and a collaborative work space.
Fifteen Hudson Yards is one of a trio of skyline-redefining additions to the largest private real estate development in the U.S. The new tower is the development’s first building to offer condominiums for sale; sales launched about a year ago, and Fifteen Hudson Yards quickly became Manhattan’s fastest selling condo. The building features 285 for-sale residences, priced from $3.9 million all the way up to a $32M duplex penthouse.
