To add insult to injury, even the MTA’s Weekender offered poor service regarding the subway’s poor service this weekend, with more than usual repetitive data points, errors, and redundant information. Other bad news outside of this weekend’s temporary subway changes is two more long-term ones: The Cathedral Park station will start being skipped in both directions by A, B and C trains through September and the Rockaway Park Shuttle will cease servicing Broad Channel until May. Additionally there are a number of other significant service changes this weekend, especially for 2, 3, 5, A, C and 7 riders.
No 2 or 3 train service between Brooklyn and Manhattan. No service at Park Place, Wall St, Clark St and Hoyt St. 2 trains replace weekend 5 service between Dyre Av and E 180 St. All 2 trains from 3 Av-149 St board at the Manhattan-bound platform. No 2 trains between Dyre Av and E 180 St.
No 4 trains between Utica Av and New Lots Av. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
5 trains replace weekend 2 service between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St. No 5 trains between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 241 St. Bronx-bound 5 trains skip 138 St-Grand concourse.
Brooklyn Bridge-bound 6 trains run express from Parkchester to 3 Av-138 St. Trains stop at Hunts Point Av.
No 7 trains between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service, operating in two sections: between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av and between Times Sq-42 St and 34 St-Hudson Yards.
A, B and C trains will begin skipping Cathedral Parkway in both directions, to continue until September. Inwood-bound A trains skip 72, 81, 86, 96, 103, 110 and 116 Sts. Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound A trains run express from Hoyt Schermerhorn to Euclid Av and skip 155 St and 135 St.
No C trains between 145 St and 168 St. Downtown trains skip 135 St. 168 St-bound trains skip 72, 81, 86, 96, 103, 110, 116 and 135 Sts.
World Trade Center-bound E trains skip Briarwood and 75 Av.
42 Street Shuttle service operates overnight.

Coney Island-bound F trains skip 23 St and 14 St as well as Sutphin Blvd, Briarwood and 75 Av.
M service ends early between 71 Av and Essex St. No M trains between Myrtle-Wyckoff Av and Myrtle Av (Broadway) – free shuttle buses provide alternate service. M shuttle trains run every 20 minutes between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.
Coney Island-bound N trains run express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 59 St, Brooklyn.
Bay Ridge-bound R trains run express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 59 St.

Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated above are subject to change and worsen.
